Bio

I grew up in small town USA in Ponca, Nebraska. I had great parents and a wonderful family. Almost all of us played an instrument or sang. I started playing guitar at the age of 10. I played my first gig at the age of 14.

I was 19 I went on the road with Bobby Easterday. At age 24 I moved to southern Indiana and lived there 25 years. During that time, I played with Bobby Easterday, Mainstreet, The Lost River Band and my own band - The Wrexx Band. We were a band for 20 years!! Shout out to my Indiana band members and lots of friends.

In 1990 I made some trips to Nashville. I recorded a couple original songs at Stargem Records. The songs were written by me and my Mom. They had some success on the IRC record charts. "The Devil in Me' went to number 6 and "Play Me a Cryin' Song" went to number 1.

I have had the opportunity to open up for some big names over the years. Such as David Allen Coe, Arron Tipon, Tracy Bird, Johnny Paycheck and many others. I have enjoyed a life filled with music.

I am currently a member of "The Riata Band". We are a great country variety show with good harmonies and great musicians.

Country music is my thing but I like most all types of music.

I have recently built a studio in my home and have released my first solo CD called “Waltzes, Country, Gospel and Blues.” It is now for sale through this web-site, my Facebook page, in local stores and on CD Baby, iTunes (through CD Baby), Amazon, Google Play, as well as Gracenote MusicID.

It is a collection of just what the title says - Waltzes, Country, Gospel and Blues. The CD has two brand new original songs - "Blues This Mornin" and the title cut "Waltzes, Country, Gospel and Blues"

I have a friend, whose name I will not say to protect the innocent, who always said to me "Brewer, I don't care what kind of music you play, it comes out sounding country!!" Not that he was saying it’s a bad thing - just a fact.

I am open for business in the studio and I hope that you will purchase a CD. You will enjoy it I know!
